General Exhibits Info
With hundreds of exhibiting organizations and multiple pavilions and stages featuring the hottest authors, the exhibit floor is an integral part of the learning and professional development that takes place at the Midwinter Meeting. The Exhibit Hall offers attendees the opportunity to explore the breadth and depth of library products, services, books and online services and the tools and technologies available in today’s libraries.

Ribbon-Cutting & Exhibits Opening Reception
The Exhibit Hall opens immediately following the Opening Session, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring a brief welcome by ALA and local dignitaries. The Exhibits Opening includes food, drink, and entertainment through the exhibit hall, giving exhibitors and attendees their first chance to network as the exhibits kick off. Enjoy the lively music provided by the Joseph A. Ferko String Band, boasting the most successful record in the history of Philadelphia’s annual Mummers Parade!

Book Buzz Theater
Come hear the latest “Buzz” about the newest titles from your favorite publishers all in one easy-to-find location on the Exhibit Hall Floor. Find out who is presenting and when.
The PopTop Stage - Popular Topics, Every Day
The PopTop Stage will focus on popular librarian favorites such as Humor, Local Plots and Authors, Graphic Novels, and Mystery. The PopTop Stage will feature readings, discussions, presentations and book signings on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. For a full schedule, check out the official Pop Top Stage page.
What's Cooking - Cookbook Exhibit & Cooking Demonstration
For the first time at Midwinter Meeting the cookbook stage will be heating up the exhibit floor! Enjoy fantastic displays of the latest cookbooks and live demonstrations of top recipes, followed by book signings with the chefs. Check out the What's Cooking Stage Schedule
Open to ALA members, the Internet Room is located in the Exhibit Hall and is open during exhibit hours only. It is managed by ALA’s Internet Steering Committee and staffed by volunteers.
The United States Postal Service will be on hand to take care of your shipping needs, offering exclusively Priority Mail service. Check the Post Office location on site for daily hours.
Exhibits Closing & Wrap Up/Rev Up Celebration
Join us Monday afternoon to close the exhibits and rev up for the Annual Conference in Las Vegas. Start in the Exhibit Hall where exhibitors will offer discounts and special giveaways in their booths. The Exhibits Closing will be followed by the Wrap Up/Rev Up event, featuring 2013 National Book Award-winning author James McBride and his band.
